No cuts for Hate Story?

Vikram Bhatt’s Hate Story that ‘shocked’ with its first poster showcasing lead actor Paoli Dam’s bare back, and a teaser promo released on YouTube, replete with four-letter words, has been cleared by the Censor Board Of Film Certification with an ‘A’ certificate without any dialogue cuts.
“That’s what we were afraid of, given that some of what Paoli says is pretty explosive. But not a single line or even a word was beeped out,” claims director Vivek Agnihotri. “Even the female members of the board agreed that it needed to be seen the way it had been conceived and written.”
Vivek says that there was a lot of pressure on the censors. “After the screening, I was told to dilute five lovemaking scenes by reducing the length of the footage. What really impressed me was that the censors left it to our creative judgement to tone down the content keeping Indian sensibilities in mind. That kind of trust is a positive sign for filmmakers.”
When contacted, JP Singh from the Censor Board said he was busy at a screening and unable to comment.
